I know what it feels like to be so busy that you wonder how you’re going to do it all. How do you find the time before work to shower, get yourself ready, make breakfast, and get your kids off to school or daycare. Nowadays, it’s hard for busy women to find the time to still look their best. They want to appear rested and put together and let’s face it, makeup can really make a difference.
So I’ve come up with these 5 easy makeup tips for busy women that will assist you in getting yourself ready faster and help you look your best while tackling that to-do list.
Makeup Tip #1:
Invest in these five cosmetic products: A quality moisturizing Foundation, Tinted Moisturizer or BB Cream (whichever you prefer), a brightening under eye Concealer, a Blush/Contour/Highlight combination kit, Mascara, and a long-lasting Lipstick or Lipgloss.
Makeup Tip #2:
If you can do without Foundation skip it, but always make sure to at least use a Tinted Moisturizer or BB Cream. The dewy coverage will not only provide the moisture your skin needs, but the tint will also provide a soft coverage as well.
Makeup Tip #3:
If you can skip the concealer do it, it will help to save you time. However, if you suffer from bags and/or dark circles under your eyes, then make sure to use a brightening Concealer. Brightening Concealer will conceal and make you appear more awake at the same time.
Makeup Tip #4:
Use the Blush/Contour/Highlight Combination kit as your blush, highlight, and contour and your eyeshadow too. Using it to highlight and contour your face is optional. Remember, you desire to look your best in the shortest amount of time. Use the blush color for both your cheeks and eyelids, the contour color in your eye crease, and the highlight for the brow bone and inner corner. These steps will help give you a more rested appearance.
Makeup Tip #5:
If you must choose between Eyeliner and Mascara to save time, always choose Mascara. The curling, thickening and lengthening effect of Mascara opens the eyes giving you a more wide-eyed appearance.
Finish off your look with your favorite long lasting Lipstick or Lipgloss. Voila’! In about 5 minutes you’re ready to slay the day.
